LNP SM-102
Lipid Nanoparticles with SM-102 ionizable lipid available with GFP, FLuc or OVA mRNA.
LNP SM-102 are ready-to-use lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) loaded with mRNA, formulated with the ionizable lipid SM-102 and produced by microfluidic technology. SM-102 is the ionizable lipid used in the Spikevax COVID-19 mRNA vaccine (Moderna).
Three mRNAs are available: GFP mRNA, firefly luciferase (FLuc) mRNA and ovalbumin (OVA) mRNA.
The LNPs are monodisperse, with a narrow size distribution and a high encapsulation efficiency (>80%). They are designed to protect the mRNA from degradation and to facilitate its intracellular uptake.
The mRNAs are modified with 5-methoxyuridine (5moU), capped at the 5' end (Cap1) and contains a poly(A) tail at the 3' end.
Concentration: 0.1 mg/mL (100 µg/mL) mRNA in LNPs
Buffer: PBS, 10% sucrose
Sizes for each mRNA-LNP:
- 0.5 mL (2*250 μL)
- 1 mL (4*250 μL)
- 5 mL (20*250 μL)
Storage: -80°C. We recommend to minimize freeze-thaw cycles to preserve LNP integrity.
Shipping: Dry ice (Dry ice fee included in shipping cost).
This product is manufactured "on demand", which means that no stock is produced, so the expected delivery time is 2 to 3 weeks.
