SEAP Assay kit
SEAP Assay Kit (Secreted Alkaline Phosphatase) is a colorimetric assay for sensitive quantification of SEAP in culture medium from transfected cells or tissues. Alkaline phosphatase cleaves the colourless 4-nitrophenylphosphate (pNPP) substrate to give a yellow p-nitrophenolate product in alkaline solutions. It is commonly used as a reporter gene expression and can be accurately quantified. It is a truncated form of placental alkaline phosphatase (GPI-anchored protein).
The kit contains sufficient reagents to perform 500 assays in 96-well plate format.
